We talk about her journey transitioning from pursuing a PhD in English literature to owning a handcrafted gift shop to shifting into the world of economic development. We get into what it is that an economic developer actually does, the importance of storytelling and communication in her role, balancing short term pain with positive long term outcomes, and what the economic landscape looks like in Watertown.
